King Island Bakehouse is a must visit if you are tempted by great coffee and their famous King Island crayfish pies.
Other favourites include freshly baked bread, satay beef rolls, salmon and King Island Camembert Quiches. Tempting treats include choc raspberry lamingtons and white chocolate cheesecakes.
Located in the Currie main street, the King Island Hotel offers a decent cellar, pub style dinners, King Island steaks, and locally fished lobster.
The hotel also offers a daily breakfast, chicken parmigiana, pizza, pasta, and other favourites.
For bistro, pub counter meals, and takeaways the King Island Club is a great place to feed the hungry hoards.
While the decor hasn’t been changed in decades, the menu includes local King Island beef and fresh seafood, there is a decent cellar, prices are reasonable, and function rooms are available to fit large groups of people.
